I founded The SLEAT Behaviour Consulting in January 2025 to create a practice where therapeutic support feels practical, approachable and centred on each person’s strengths and needs. Since 2014, I’ve worked with individuals between 2-30 years old across homes, schools, work places and community settings. My work focuses on helping people build skills and make everyday routines a little calmer and more enjoyable, particularly around their sleep and mealtimes routines. I work closely with families, carers, educators and other professionals to make sure support is consistent, practical, and meaningful in everyday life for the person we support.
Outside of work, I love walking in nature and exploring different coastal walks in NSW. And of course, being Malaysian, I also enjoy trying new cafes and restaurants - a passion we bring with us everywhere we go!

Practice Approaches
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
ABA provides the foundation for my work in understanding human behaviours and teaching meaningful skills that support independence, communication, and quality of life.
positive behaviour support (PBS)
PBS is central to my practice alongside ABA. This means supports are proactive, strength-based and focused on long-term outcomes in collaboration with the person I support and their care team members.
Acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT)
I support carers and older persons I work with to use ACT-informed strategies to respond to challenges with self-compassion, flexibility and values-based decision-making.
collaborative & proactive solutions (CPS)
Using CPS approach, it helps us understand the needs and challenges behind behaviours of concern, rather than just reacting to them. CPS focuses on problem-solving together, building skills, and finding practical ways to help the child manage frustration, transitions, and tricky situations.
